Francesco Pisanu
I am an MSCA Postdoctoral Researcher at the Venice School of Management, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, in Italy, since September 2026. Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at CORE (Center for Operations Research and Econometrics), Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium, and before that at the Université Sorbonne Paris Nord in France.
I have taught Prescriptive Analytics at Ca' Foscari (A.Y. 2026/27), Production and Operations Management at the Faculty of Management of UCLouvain during the A.Y.s 2024/25 and 2025/26, Institut Galilee during the A.Y. 2023/24, and at the IUT Villetaneuse during the A.Y. 2021/22-2022/23.
PhD thesis: On box-total dual integrality and total equimodularity, defended in 2023.

Research interests
Integer programming, combinatorial optimization, computational complexity, and graph theory — with a focus on strong integrality properties of polyhedra such as the integer decomposition property and box-total dual integrality.
